Legacy of Kain series left a bit impact on me as I was growing up. I remember seeing my dad play Soul Reaver II when it just came out back in the 2001 and being absolutely mind blown by the world of Nosgoth. It was far too complex for me to understand it back then, as well as appreciate all the little details, but I was immediately drawn to the gameplay and this universe, and set myself a goal to complete the game without any help from my dad.

Many years have passed by, and I have eventually forgotten all about the game, as it stayed an image in the archives of my memories, it was not before 2010 when we started to revisit some of the games from our early childhood with my younger brother Yehor. That was the moment we have rediscovered Legacy of Kain series, and fell in love with it all over again.

Around the time when I was writing my first video game compositions (2015-2016) I started looking for remakes of Legacy of Kain games, and found 2 incredible projects, one of which was "Blood Omnicide" (talked about it in my other page) and the other one was "Soul Revenant" which had exactly the same ambition of remaking one of the original games with updated graphics, original vision brought back to life. There is such a dedicated fan base out there, waiting for the game to be resurrected. I immediately reached out to the Soul Revenant team regarding recomposing the soundtrack for the original Soul Reaver, and from there starts a journey that continues up until this day.

The project is now unfortunately discontinued, but there was an enormous amount of work done on all ends. From my side - a full recreation of the original Soul Reaver Soundtrack: Analyzing Original Compositions, Restructuring, Sampling and Remixing of the original pieces, adding new synthesizers, new guitar recordings and samples of my own. Changing the composition's structure.

I still continue making Soul Reaver OST revisits to this day and aspire to cover both Soul Reaver 1 and 2. It is also one my most famous projects to date with some of the tracks reaching over 30 000 views.
